An abstract watercolor landscape painting in bright colors and unusual shapes that evoke a fauvist dreamscape, but more likely reflect a location in rural China given the title 'China Pink' written in delicate cursive in the lower left corner. Translucent washes of pinks, blues, and purple reminiscent of majestic sea glass mountains energize the background, while bright emerald and earthy forest greens ground and accent the foreground. It fills me with a childlike wonder for the magical places I have yet to discover.
Signed 'Maya Paduayiski' in the lower right corner. Beautifully matted and framed under glass in a modern metal chrome frame. less
