The heavy ceramic plate has been hand decorated with a floral design using orange, green, and deep cobalt blue over glaze enamels. The design is over-painted with very fine gilt detail. The painting is very fine.

The plate has a partially-glaze shallow, rounded foot. The base is glazed. The plate has no hallmarks or labels.

MEASUREMENTS

8 ¼ in (21.0 cm) diameter x 1 ¼ in (3.2 cm) deep. Weighs 1 lb 0.6 oz (470 g)

CONDITION

There are no breaks, chips, cracks, or repairs. There is light wear to the gilding but enamels are bright and fresh looking.
