Description: Art deco period, designed Ing-Mari Åsberg for IKEA in the 1980s. A discus shaped vase which has the most amazing … more Art deco period, designed Ing-Mari Åsberg for IKEA in the 1980s. A discus shaped vase which has the most amazing aqua green or pale turquoise color. The super slender round discus shape of the vase is very typical of the Swedish Grace style and has likeness with Mcstay Jackson's art pottery, which was popular in Sweden in the 1920s and 1930s and had a revival in the 80s, inspiration came from earlier periods but with a modern twist. It is in a very good condition with almost no ware at all, and the glazing is perfect, it is a thing of beauty and will be a stunning interior feature in any setting.
