The Wish Keeper™ is a distinctive ceramic sculpture crafted by artist Matthew Lovein in Hawaii. This piece is created using the Raku firing technique, a traditional Japanese method that imparts unique crackle patterns and color variations to each work. The design features a vessel resting on a distinctive base, topped with a lid shaped like bamboo, symbolizing strength and flexibility. Inside, a silk cord suspends a ceramic cylinder intended to hold a parchment with a personal wish. An ancient symbol on the seal represents good fortune and abundance. Each Wish Keeper™ is individually handcrafted, ensuring that no two pieces are exactly alike.
