Antique mahogany American Empire period flip top card games table, New York, c1830s. Table with loss of veneer and chips and worn areas to carving. Will need to be restored. Rounded front and plinth mounted to a turned pedestals and standing on 4 heavily carved hairy legs with acanthus knees and ending in a clawed foot on caster. Being sold as is. Unsigned.
Measures 36.5 wide X 19 deep X 28 high closed. 36.5 X 38 open.
Items can be picked up in New Rochelle, NY 10801 or at my space in Mongers Market in Bridgeport, CT 06605 on Sundays between 10am-4pm.
