A classic Mottahedeh epergne in the taste of blanc de chine chinoiserie. Mottahedeh reproduced it from a bowl made for the Chinese Qianlong Emperor in 1735. When they can be found, this epergne is usually in the "Tobacco Leaf" pattern and rarely found in blanc de chine. It is the smaller of the two that were made.
Size: 17"h x 8" at base and 8-1/2" at first bowl.
Condition: Excellent, no cracks, chips or dings. The central mounting rod is newer. less
