This is an original pencil signed etching by well known animal artist Morgan Dennis. The title of this work is: "Stick together Fellers", it was created and printed in 1930. The image measures 4X5 3/8 inches, printed on a medium weight wove type paper.
Morgan Dennis was an American illustrator and author known primarily for his paintings of dogs. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts and grew up in Long Island, New York. He studied art with William Harry Warren Bicknell. Dennis was an etcher, illustrator, writer and lecturer. His dog illustrations appeared in many well-known magazines and books. He was particularly well known for his depictions of Scotties. Dennis drew the original illustrations for the Black and White Scotch ads.
