A finely and dramatically decorated black ground Famille Noir porcelain vase with prunus branches, peony flowers and butterflies in glazed enamel all around the vessel. Later made into a lamp and mounted on a gilded carved Asian plinth base. Sand colored silk shade. Very good condition, irregularities to the surfaces, as made, with light wear. First half 20th Century.
