This original Art Nouveau ceiling light was made in France around 1915. What is unusual for such a lamp is its very high weight, so it can be assumed that both the figure and the pendulum, which is designed like a braided rope, are made of solid bronze casting.
The little cherub holds a candlestick with crystal glass cones, which project a beautiful play of light into the room.
The candlestick is in extremely good condition and shows no damage.
