This is a beautiful patchwork piece by Zita Chocarro. Her exploration of color plays with form and contrast, as the intersection of the shapes she uses masterfully come together to interact beautifully in every space they are displayed. Inspired by traditional patchwork, she has managed to transform this centuries-old technique into stylish and contemporary artworks that stand firmly on their own. Zita's works bring warmth, color and texture to a space, as they are handmade using pieces of natural fabrics, sewn together and sometimes hand-painted. They can be displayed either framed and behind glass, stretched on wooden stretchers, or hung on their own. Details: Title: Copernican Revolution I Medium: Fabric Measurements: 28x32.7 inches (54.3x47.2 inches with margin). Year: 2024 Artist: Zita Chocarro * Works are carefully rolled in a tube, frames and stretchers are for display purposes only. * Works include a 1-2 inch border that may be used to wrap around wooden stretchers. The pieces can also be framed behind glass. * If there are wrinkles, fabric works may be ironed using medium to low heat on the back side before stretching or displaying. Zita Chocarro (Pamplona, Spain, 1984) is a textile artist that explores color field compositions through her works on fabric. Zita, a multifaceted artist and artisan, has worked for many years in the world of fashion and design, and has always been focused on the relationship between minimal geometry combined with smart, elegant compositions and subtle textures. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
