I quote, ‘An Opal glass cylinder, supported by the sleek wall arm of lacy rectangles on a square base, symmetrical, clean-lined and well-proportioned’. Mr Lockhorn (Director and founder of Raak) knew it was important to employ good designers. In Raak catalogue 5 (which includes these lamps), the designers listed are Frank Ligtelijn (Netherlands), Tapio Wirkkala, (Finland), Nanny Still-Mackinney (Finland).
