Large wood trunk with substantial flat lid, carved detail to bottom, pierced … more Antique handcrafted Chinese traveling dowry trunk on wheels. Large wood trunk with substantial flat lid, carved detail to bottom, pierced brass hardware throughout and chunky metal handles to either side. The front of the trunk features a beautiful "relief" carvings of scrolls and florals. Ample storage inside with separate smaller "lidded" compartments to each side. Estimated early 19th century.
