The print is a throw back to an original cover artwork by GeorgeWolfePlank for Nov. 15th 1917 Vogue Magazine. Its an homage to his earlier cover from 1911 with same woman sitting atop a peacock’s back. These mirrors say Early December 1919; the reason for this discrepancy in the date is that it was a way to avoid copyright infringement against the original art. Frame is a dark brown wood and can easily be replaced - back board is stamped made in England. less
