This is a set of 2 French fashion croquis for the 1984 line of couture designs for the Spring/Summer collection by Nina Ricci. These croquis (fashion designs) feature a casual daywear ensemble and an elegant evening dress. The back side of each design denotes a simple description of the design and the year of the collection. They were given to prospective clients at the runway shows every season in Paris. They were limited in number and have become desirable and collectible by fashionistas over time. 7 x 9.5 inches in size. These images are done in black ink on thick glossy sheen paper. They are very crisp and pristine. Drawn and signed by the iconic avant-garde designer, Gerald Pipart. Pipart was the leading couture designer for Nina Ricci, starting his career with Nina Ricci in 1964 and working there for 35 years until his retirement.
