This handcrafted pine wood beauty exudes a rustic chic vibe with its stylish scalloped side rails, artfully worked steel scroll handles and texturally interesting interior grooved bottom. Nicely-sized, it will scale perfectly on a large ottoman, expansive kitchen island or oversized entryway table as a decorative catchall tray. It measures 21” wide from handle-to-handle (20” without the handles); 13” depth; height 4¼” taken from top of handle to bottom (height without handle 3”); interior 17½” x 9¾” x 3” W/D/H; weight 1 lb. 14 oz. Handcrafted by an unknown maker from pine wood with a multi-hued earth tone stain and wax finish; handles are worked scrolled steel. In excellent condition with age-appropriate wear (see photos 7, 8 & 10). The pine wood used looks like American knotty white and we estimate that this beauty was handcrafted in the USA sometime in the 1950s to 1960s. The scalloped side rails and worked steel scroll handles transform this tray from common to eye catching and its organic look-and-feel will most definitely complement any design style, from rustic European to modern farmhouse
