I have owned this for over 50 years, purchased from my neighbor who owned for at least that long. Some years ago, I had a local antique refurbished evaluate it and professionally restore the gorgeous wood finish. He also gently treated the three leather inlays on the desktop while not damaging the integrity of the piece.

The original vintage Bassett drawer pulls were refreshed to their original gleaming finish.

He did point out that the drawers were made without tongue and groove or nails and screws.. the only screws are the ones holding the drawer pulls.

Dimensions are 47" w x 21" d x 30" h

I do adore this piece, but it doesn't fit in my contemporary home design, and I am looking for someone new to love it. less
