Century; C.1865-C.1910; Dresden, Germany is this fabulous piece of Meissen porcelain, depicting female Maiden/Athena or Venus, wearing a blush colored dress, and a french blue scarf on a chariot, festooned with flowers and an array of cupid/putti or cherub figurines throughout, supported on a celadon colored platform, with laurel wreaths. On the underside in close up image, one can see the maker's markings of Meissen Porcelain crossed bows with a production the numbers 8288 The numbers denotes the C.1888 date, manufactured. , Showcases exactly what this piece is about. It is in SUPERB condition. From an Estate; whereupon the Collector has an extensive collection of Meissen Pieces, as she lived to be 97, but the best part, is she documented and researched all her pieces, and maintained a vigil on her collection throughout the ensuing years.
