MATERIALS & TECHNIQUES Molded Beech Veneer, Coated Steel.
CONDITION Good. Wear consistent with age and use. All four seats have wear. All back rests have some wear. Bases minor wear.

HISTORY
John Hutton designed the stackable Anziano chair in 1989 for the American Academy of Rome, reinterpreting the silhouette of ancient Greek klismos chairs using a contemporary design language. The chair was introduced in 1991 into the Donghia line, quickly becoming an icon of American industrial design. less
