I see furniture as a canvas and love to save or transform vintage furniture. Try as they might they just can't reproduce the charm of the real thing. As much as I love painting, and that was my intent for this piece when I brought it home, I just couldn't make myself paint over this vintage finish because it's just so cute ! It is that creamy yellow that was the thing at that time but this one has a textured pattern in the paint. and the greenish accents are just adorable ! It's not perfect but it is in excellent vintage condition. Some minor chips and scuffs but they are so minor they don't distract from the beauty of this desk. Clean drawers and the desk is solid and all the drawers work well. less
