The wiring on … more This is an extraordinarily nice pair of mid century modern heavy brass wall mount double candle sconces. The wiring on each is in good condition and all candles work when hooked up to electricity. (Bulbs not included.) Each double candle sconce measures about 10" wide and 8" tall. When mounted they will stand out from the wall about 4 1/2".

I don't think you can tell without very close inspection, but there are little holes surrounding each brass flower (i.e., at the base of each candle) where 4 prisms could hang. At the end of each brass vine (the vine runs from the flower downward) there is also a tiny hole at the end of each vine where a prism could be placed. (There could be a total of 4 + 4 + 1 + 1 = 10 prisms that could be added to each double candle sconce.) I did not add prisms to these because I prefer the more rustic appeal they have without the prisms -- but beauty is in the eye of the beholder/owner. :) I have no doubt each would look quite luxurious with prisms added.

Each double candle sconce has built in mouting holes near the center top and center bottom. Each is in excellent physical condition and in good working order. The electrical sockets and plastic sleeves covering the sockets are in excellent and clean condition. There is a tiny amount of tarnish on the brass that could be very easily removed but I leave this up to the buyer -- since some prefer such items in as-found, full-patina condition. less
