Design Plus Gallery presents Chanteurs de Rues by Joan Miró. Signed original lithograph from 1981, the limited copy is numbered 22 of the 80 made. Joan Miró was a pioneer of automatism; a method of spontaneous drawing that attempts to express the inner workings of the human psyche. Color and form is used in a symbolic manner, developing intricate compositions and a wandering linear style that combines abstract elements with recurring motifs. Purchased from Robert Green Fine Art in Mill Valley (1981). No certificate of authenticity. Is in good condition with minimal signs of wear that is consistent with usage.
