Exquisite pieces of Correia art glass. Stands 14” tall and the crowning bowl is 13” in diameter. The deep, crisp purple is accentuated by a round cylinder with slight red tint on a rounded base. This is statement art for the focal point or centerpiece of your built in shelves and display area.
Correia Art Glass uses the finest sand from the American Southwest using unique formulas of minerals and precious metals to create glowing glass. Using freehand blowing techniques and a combination of tools developed over century and new technology, the creations are unrivaled in their appearance and quality. Correia does not use molds to create the artwork, making each handmade piece precious and unique.
Every unique Correia Art Glass piece is signed, dated and registered to verify its authenticity, protecting its value for the future. Correia glass continues the perfect union of art and glass.
Correia Art Glass was established in 1973. It was founded by Steven V. Correia and co-founded with Patricia Correia. Steven V. Correia’s work with art glass and optical crystal sculptures have been exhibited throughout the world. Patricia Correia laid the foundation for Correia’s national reputation by introducing and selling the glass to the finest retailers, galleries, and fine art museums. The nation’s great museums own Correia Art Glass. It is in the permanent collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Smithsonian Institution, the Corning Museum and the Chrysler Museum of Art. less
