The bruckmann company produced numerous precious silver objects designed by well-known designers. The company existed until 1973. - knewitz - design/distribution, sales, founded in 1834 by jakob knewitz in mainz, establishment of a silverware manufactory under his son fritz, supplied the russian imperial court, was henceforth allowed to call himself court jeweler for hesse-darmstadt. The company has been run by rainer knewitz since 2003 (homepage of the company) - model number 8826, serial numbers 7 + 8 condition: very well maintained, silver cleaned and polished, glass completely intact this piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
