Two edward vii clear glass carafes with a conical body, elaborate steinel and octagonal cut on the outer wall, finely radiated base star, smooth silver mount with beak spout and elegantly curved handle, hinged slightly domed lid with curved spout cover and ball as a knob. 925 silver hallmarks: anchor - city mark of birmingham lion - 'lion passant' england, sterling silver 925 'b' - date letter 1901-1902 (edward vii) master's sign 'bb'- barker brothers, founded 1801 bibliography: ian pickford, pocket edition, jackson's hallmarks, antique collectors' club, 2011, page 85 size: highth: 27,0 cm / 10.62 in width: 14,5 cm / 5.70 in depth: 9,5 cm / 3.74 in very well-maintained condition, silver cleaned and polished, glass undamaged this piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
