Magnificent side table made by the famous French firm “L’Escalier de Cristal” at the very beginning of the 20th century. Made of wood, it has a stylized structure, with side legs that have ornamental cutouts, joined at the bottom by a wavy shell. The envelope features a gilt bronze fillet, of the highest quality. On the lower part, the signature seal.
L'Escalier de Cristal was one of the most exclusive and prestigious design houses in Paris during the 19th century and early 20th century that specialized mainly in the creation of pieces of furniture, lamps and decorative objects, combining different materials such as ormolú , crystal and alabaster. The table therefore fully represents the characteristics of the illustrious manufacture: small in size, it has a light and elegant line, and a precise manufacturing technique.
It is a versatile piece, perfect for placing between sofas or armchairs, or leaning against the wall of a living room, study or entrance. Its refined line makes it suitable both in an environment as antique furniture and as modern furniture, adding a touch of sophistication thanks to its finishes and detailed design.
