This design was created for the luxury liner SS Normandie by the designer Luc Lanel. This grand Ocean liner's first class passenger spaces were decorated in the trendiest Art Deco style and filled with luxuries the bars filled with these smart Art Deco Cocktail Shakers.

Fully marked on the underside with the Gallia / Cockerel mark / France / Chess O/C (ORFÈVRERIE CHRISTOFLE) mark together with "Prod. Christofle".

Dating to c.1935. Excellent condition just back from our silversmith's workshop where it has been professionally cleaned and polished, restoring it to it's former glory. Measuring: 10" tall x 3 1/2" in diameter. less
