A gorgeous representation of quality and details in this carved French-Style, emblazoned Fleur de Lys topped accented with carved eagles or pheasant heads, on apposing ended top perimeter edges. Mirror in interior is a beveled mirror, surrounded by radius carved surround, s-curves, curled edges, textured carved details throughout, including paisley-like architecture details, scalloped shell and daisy flower details. Very French, New Orleans, Hollywood regency manner, but also Traditional English and American style thematics, and can be hung in Dining room, entry hall over a console or entry table, in a bedroom, family or living room, even in a Boudoir or walk-in closet, given the nature and desirability of placement. A wonderful solid and heavy mirror, as the backside images dictate, the mirror already has the hardware to hang up, as well as the provenance and maker's markings in close-up images.
Approved by the Williamsburg Foundation's an exact replica of the original. Date of manufacture is 1969-current owner/client.
