Inimitable sophistication and luxurious chic best describe this duo of top grain semi-aniline leather and hair-on-hide swivel base barrel chairs. These custom bench-made chairs were expertly crafted from top grain semi-aniline leather which features beautiful grain texture with color consistency. The hair-on-hide “cheetah pattern” wrapped sides and back adds luxurious texture. So much attention to detail went into the making of this gorgeous pair! Each chair sits on a concealed heavy-duty ball-bearing 360° swivel base. Frames are built with kiln-dried solid hardwood; shaped curved wood trim is made from hardwood laminate. Joints are braced with corner blocks that have been glued and stapled for maximum strength. Eight-way hand-tied coil springs, a hallmark of quality construction, is a traditional process that involves tying eight knots on each seat coil with heavy cord, ensuring uniformed seating support and long-lasting comfort for many years. Seat cushion cores are built with pocketed Marshal coils cradled in multiple layers of soft and resilient foam that springs back in shape, much more stable than simple polyurethane foam. Seat cushions are encased in multi-channeled feather and fiber blend jacket for a plush cloud seating type. Nail head trim has been hand-antiqued to complement the espresso stained wooden trim of each chair’s curved silhouette. Color of the top grain semi-aniline leather is “Milano Iceberg”, a soft off white milky hue. The hair-on-hide “cheetah pattern” background is also the same hue as the leather with milky chocolate spots with tan undertones. Both chairs are in impeccable condition with minimal age-appropriate wear. Weight per chair is approximately 125 lbs. Each measures as follows:
