one by adolf loos for writer and art historian dr. The six-legged table designed by hugo haberfeld (alserstraße 23, 1080 vienna) from 1902 was made in several variations by the viennese art furniture carpenter friedrich otto schmidt due to high demand. Due to the close and familiar collaboration with the designer, friedrich otto schmidt was able to produce and sell adapted art furniture, which is known in technical jargon as “à la loos” furniture.
