Antique Nippon Hand Painted Cream and Sugar Floral Rose Pattern with Moriage Pink and Green Marked with Double Peacock T Nippon Mark
One of the early Nippon potteries charmingly decorated this set in what looks like pink tea roses. White moriage is also applied throughout. I was unable to trace the specific peacock mark, so would love to hear from a collector with any tips as far as that goes.
Measurements:
Creamer: 4 11/16" D x 3 5/8" W x 3" H, 4.8 oz
Sugar: 6" W x 4" D x 3.5" H, 9.7g
Condition:
Very good antique condition with no visible scratches, chips, or cracks. A bit of loss to hand-painted details along the rim of the sugar top and gold gilding details. Both still have their glossy finish. Normal wear for age and use. Please see all photos.
