more
Luisa parisi red & white impronta - mano vase for cassina from the creative flair of ico and luisa parisi comes the ceramic hand vase, part of the impronta collection, conceived in the 1960s by the designer and his wife as a refined series of home accessories with clear pop-art references. Thanks to painstaking historically accurate lines of inquiry and development conducted in partnership with roberta lietti, curator of the ico parisi design archives, cassina re-edits a cylindrical vase with an opening in the shape of a mouth, a single-stem vase characterized by a hollow contour in the shape of a hand, and a pin tray that reproduces the cast of an open hand, poised to receive small everyday items. An elegant and functional creation, this object is made of hand-decorated glazed ceramic and is distinguished by its strong visual and chromatic impact that harks back to a period characterised by strong material research applied to design. Material enamelled ceramic colours black and white, red and white measures 19x h.21,5 x 5,5 cm" the vases and pin trays in the impronta ceramics collection grew out of the creative talent of ico and luisa parisi. Conceived in the 1960s by the designer and his wife as a sophisticated series of home accessories, the pop-art influence is clear.
