This very large, green glass balloon was made in Italy in the 1950s.
These vessels were primarily used for storage in wineries or pharmacies.
The spherical shape with a short, narrow neck optimizes the capacity per vessel weight.
The balloon holds approx. 50 liters.
Today these balloons can be used wonderfully for decoration in the home and garden.
Very good vintage condition.
Cleaned and ready for immediate use.
