It consist of 2 bent wooden runners that are connected by slats, all black lacquered (original).
The special thing about this particular chair is that it still has its original upholstery, which still is in very good condition. A fantastic multicoloured geometrically patterned fabric. The colors are not faded, and the filling of the cushions is still thick and give good support.
Fantastic chair and very comfortable as well.
