The chairs feature a rattan frame with an open fretwork design on the back in the Chinese Chippendale taste. The rattan has a rich dark cerused finish. The generous seats have original leather seat cushions in a French blue color. Also included is a set of updated seat cushions in an Irish linen upholstery fabric. The rattan is reinforced with leather rawhide laces on the exposed joints. The chairs are solid and sturdy with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The arms measure 25 inches high. McGuire makers plaques on bottoms of seats. From an estate in Malibu, CA. Price is for the pair.
