In our home it was a bookshelf and then became a place to put treasures from around the world. It's beautifully made of Mahogany and has a gorgeous distressed walnut finish. The top edge keeps things from sliding off the back. This would be a beautiful bar cart, or serving cart when entertaining. It's quite heavy but the wheels roll really well so on a hard surface, it would be much easier to maneuver than it is on carpet. less
