We could not … Read more With our highest compliments Bay Colony Antiques takes the utmost pleasure in offering this wonderful antique worktable. We could not be prouder to offer this table as it is one of the finest examples of an antique federal worktable that we've been able to find in quite some time. The entire piece is constructed from cherry with boldly figured bird's eye maple applied to the front of the table. The contrast between the beautiful cherry wood and the brilliance of the bird's eye maple grains creates a stunning natural effect. Each drawer is fitted with two exceptional antique floral formed glass knobs probably manufactured by The Boston and Sandwich Glass Company. The drawers are joined with hand cut dovetails and feature well oxidized drawer chamfered panels. The table features four finely turned legs that are styled in the Sheraton design with ringlets and hourglass turnings ending on ball feet. Overall, this table measures 20 1/2" wide x 16 1/2" deep x 28 3/4" tall. See less
