A ring like this one has surely witnessed many stories, from elegant soirees to whispered secrets over candlelit dinners. Crafted in London in 1910, at the height of the Edwardian era, it encapsulates the opulence and grace that defined the period. The four vibrant oval rubies at its center—each a fiery red, like embers smoldering in a hearth—draw the eye with their vivid color. Framed by fourteen old European cut diamonds, they sparkle like stars in a twilight sky, creating a striking contrast that is both regal and romantic.
The rubies measure approximately 5 x 3 x 2 mm each, totaling around 1 carat, while the diamonds add up to 0.5 carats. Together, they create an enchanting combination, set in rich 18 karat gold, hallmarked for its London origins. The ring measures 10.3 mm north to south at the face and 19 mm across, sitting 5 mm off the hand, and narrowing to 2.5 mm at the back of the band.
