This charming bench is a late 19th century Hungarian or Romanian painted pine storage bench. This timeless piece has a simple rail and stile back, ornamented with fleur-de-lis fretwork. Over time and use, the turquoise blue top layer of paint has worn away to reveal previous colors as well as the raw pine wood below. The bench seat lifts to reveal ample storage space for your belongings.
