- Fresh from a Westchester New York estate, we have a pleasure to offer you this museum quality Antique French Empire … more Fresh from a Westchester New York estate, we have a pleasure to offer you this museum quality Antique French Empire Mahogany & Bronze Mounted Hunting Board / Sideboard. Truly a stunning piece of furniture, made of rich, healthy, vivid color mahogany featuring a pair of ebonized legs acting as "bodies" for bronze feet and heads of fawn / faun llike mythological creatures. Added to that drama is a gorgeous bronze gallery, which on ends morphs into snakes. Made in France mid 19th century. Although a server buffet, this gem served the previous owner as a wall console table. It is naturally a perfect display surface for anything, sculptures, art or flowers. It is in good antique condition, showing light age / use wear (please see photos). Large and impressive size reaching 65" wide, 20" deep, 53" to top of the gallery, and it is 37" height of table surface. Great piece for any collection, home or office, will work with traditional or mid-century modern setting! less
