These are so gorgeous. I just had the leather refinished so they look like they did when I first purchased them, but the leather is a "living finish" and will scuff and mark over time (I like it better when they look a little lived in, TBH). They look so pretty in a traditional kitchen as well as a mid-century, modern, contemporary... you name it. Natural maple is sealed to protect the finish and the gunmetal nailheads and steel footrest is a nice touch too bringing in yet another texture. You will LOVE these.
