A modernist silver plate and crystal caviar serving bowl, dish, or chiller designed by Argentina silversmith Plata Lappas in the 1980s. The sophisticated design has a streamlined shape and features a rounded silver-plated metal ice container with a slightly hammered finish texture and a small crystal caviar bowl insert. The visible hallmarks on the set read: Lappas Plata Argentina engraved on the container bowl and "hand blown and cut - for Lappas - Made in Argentina" on the crystal container.
The serving set is in excellent condition, with no pronounced signs of wear.
Measurements:
Overall: 7.50 in diameter (19 cm) x 4.75 in high (12 cm). The small caviar bowl is 4.13 in diameter (10.5 cm) x 2.57 in high (6.5 cm). less
