Description: Offered is this nice original antique bentwood Thonet bistro chair model no. 14 with a new matted seat. This antique … more Offered is this nice original antique bentwood Thonet bistro chair model no. 14 with a new matted seat. This antique bistro chair, model no. 14, was designed by Thonet and was one of Thonet's most popular chairs, alongside chair no. 18. This chair was produced by the Austrian Josef Hoffmann, probably around 1900. This model is still produced, but now as no. 218. This chair is still in a good and stable condition and has a new hand-matted seat. Due to and for its age, it has normal signs of wear and has acquired a beautiful patina over the years.
