What distinguishes this side table from others, is its design. The square-shaped top and second shelf (not attached) are made of wood, with a warm, stripped teak-colored veneer. The frame above it, the upside-down hairpin legs, and V-shaped magazine rack, are made of metal with a chrome-colored finish.
The frame floating just above the top shelf, is a perfect square, that's very pretty in contrast with warm colors of the wood. The frame itself, makes it possible to rest certain objects against the sides and back. It connects with the upside-down, hairpin legs that double as handles, to make the piece easy to pick and move. All four legs have all of their original, black, plastic, feet tips (see photos.)
The piece is in very good, overall, original and vintage condition, with light marks, signs of age and previous usage commensurate with time, as well as a patina of time, on the overall structure, shelves, and legs. Some faded areas of color and a patina of time on the handles, but nothing that takes away from its beauty, functionality and cool look. All 4 feet tips are also in good condition, one with light sign of usage (see various photos.)
The table is solid, stable and the perfect size to optimize space in any given room. A great, retro piece of décor, that can be used as a side table, end of couch table, nightstand, plant stand, etc.
