The pedrali “day dream” … Read more We have acquired a set of four vintage stackable italian pedrali dining chairs in clear plastic. The pedrali “day dream” 401 chair has a clean and light design with a sled chromed steel base and a transparent polycarbonate shell, which is clipped on the frame without screws, the result is a clean and pure look. Designed by archirivolto, which was founded by claudio dondoli and marco pocci in 1983. Each chair is stamped pedrali.
although i believe that you can still buy these chairs from italy, this set was bought from an antiques dealer who said they’d purchased them in the early 2000s. There is also evidence of age to the chromed legs and plastic.
founded in 1983 in italy, archirivolto design is the result of the collaboration of designers marco pocci and claudio dondoli. Over more than three decades, the studio has specialised in the design of seating, from sofas to stools and chairs for workspaces and communal environments. Their designs incorporate different materials, with a special emphasis on plastic.
