This is a most delightful late 1800s / early 1900s cruet set in Ruby etched glassed with a silver plated rotating stand/holder. The set consists of 2 salt & pepper pots + 2 lidded bottles for vinegar & oil. Made with cut glass and silverplated metal, the pots and bottles sit in a holder which rotates. Both the bottles /pots and the plated holder have floral etching patterns. There is no makers mark on the stand (or bottles). This wonderful post-Victorian bohemian set is sure to be the talk of whatever table it eventually finds itself on!
The holder measures: 13 3/4" height x 6 1/2" diameter.
The 2 bottles are each approx 8 1/4" high x 2" diameter.
The 2 salt /pepper pots are 7 1/2" high x 2" diameter.
The whole set weighs approximately 3lb 3oz.
All my items are well packed, tracked and fully insured. It will arrive to you in the exact condition as pictured.

In particular the stand shows signs of wear / use and has minor dints and indentations. It will polish up if you prefer that look. Examine all the pictures closely. One of the lids on one of the pots "sits" on it - it does not screw on. So when pouring salt/pepper you will want to hold the rim of the lid at the same time. This may be easily fixable (by simply cleaning the lid/pot thread?). The bottles / pots could do with a quick clean in warm soapy water to remove some minor stickiness. Zoom in & out to get a good sense of the cruet set's exact condition: a picture tells a thousand words. The set's photos serve as a document as to its condition. You will receive the exact cruet set pictured here. less
