Published by Ward Fine Art, the text in the 166-page book is in English, French and Japanese.
Today, Labro-Font is little known (1888-1952), but he was a contemporary of many of the famed 20th C artists including Cezanne, Pissarro and Roualt.. But the artist, who was an architect, did not want to commercialize his paintings, so, although approached, he would not sign a contract to market them. His work is now highly regarded for his architectural perspective. This large coffee-table book is in very good condition-clean, bright, unmarked..It was formerly housed in The Sony Library. (a small label is at the back of the book). A lovely book for collectors and admirers of The Post-Impressionist Art Movement in France. . less
