The lettering reads “ATTENDANCE BOARD” and includes the instruction, “TAKE YOUR TAB OFF THE HOOK WHEN ENTERING.” The detailed craftsmanship highlights its age and significance as an early 20th-century organizational tool used to record attendance. The Methodist Church, and it was part of a broader Methodist organization known as the Epworth League.
