Made at the Nuutajärvi glass factory in Finland in the 1980s, this piece has the original sticker in tact and is signed, "O. Toikka Nuutajärvi". (Though difficult to see, it is etched on lower breast, see photos.)

Professor Oiva Toikka was one of the greatest figures in Finnish glass and a truly original glass artist. His inventive, rich and bold glass art differs from the mainstream of Nordic design. less
