The underside of the frame is signed by the maker (a letter "M" over a crown) and also "France".

They have a long substantial Mother of Pearl handle, made longer once extended. They remain in excellent condition and in full working order. Folded up, they measure 6" x 2" x 2". Edwardian in era, dating to c.1910. less
