This type of "Mad Men" glassware is often labeled Dorothy Thorpe. But although she designed silver rimmed glassware, Lusterware was made by Vitreon Queen’s Lusterware, ltd. and is a type of glassware with a metallic glaze that gives the effect of iridescence, produced by platinum oxides in an over glaze finish. These are a mid Century 1950s/60s staple. This set has 8 glasses, 5.5"H x 2.75"W, All are in excellent vintage condition.
